Supporting sporting excellence: Our journey with Nick Campbell
At NC Renovations, we believe that the spirit of teamwork, resilience, and hard work in sport mirrors everything we value in business.
Jersey’s sporting community is a constant source of inspiration, and we’re proud to support local talent at every level, from grassroots to the global stage.
One remarkable individual who embodies these values is Nick Campbell. A former Jersey Reds rugby player, Nick’s journey is a testament to determination and adaptability.
After a successful rugby career, including stints with Glasgow Warriors and representing Scotland at Club XV level, Nick made the bold decision to switch disciplines and pursue his passion for boxing. His transition was far from easy, but the same grit and discipline that made him a force on the rugby pitch have propelled him to new heights in the ring.
Nick’s achievements as a professional boxer are impressive. He became the Scottish Heavyweight Champion in 2022, making history by claiming a title that hadn’t been contested in over seventy years. Along the way, he’s sparred with some of the world’s best, including Tyson Fury, Joseph Parker, and Daniel Dubois.
He’s gained invaluable experience and respect in elite boxing circles. Throughout his journey, Nick has never forgotten his roots, proudly wearing the Jersey flag on his shorts and calling the island his home.
Our support for Nick goes beyond sponsorship; it’s about championing the values we share. In both sport and business, success is built on individuals with unique skills coming together, working hard, and overcoming adversity as a team.
Nick’s story is a powerful reminder that greatness is forged through resilience, dedication, and a willingness to learn from every challenge.
Today, Nick continues to inspire as both a champion boxer and a personal trainer, helping others pursue their own dreams while balancing his own career ambitions. We’re honoured to have played a part in his journey and to support the wider Jersey Rugby Club community, men, women, and youth alike.
We may not have a championship belt or a knighthood, but we take immense pride in standing behind those who strive for excellence. Supporting Nick Campbell isn’t just about celebrating his victories; it’s about recognising the shared values that drive us all to be better, together.
